The flower of brinjal is referred to as chasmogamous while that of beans is cleistogamous.How are they different from each other.

Chasmogamous Flowers Cleistogamous Flowers
Open flowers with anther and sigma exposed. Closed flowers so anther and stigma are never exposed.
Self pollination or cross pollination occurs. Only self pollination occurs because the flowers are always closed.
Pollinating agency required. No external pollinating agency required.
Flowers are prominent. Flowers are not much distinguishable.
