Goal

Visual Studio has a very complex interface where you can open and work with multiple windows. Each window has its own purpose and you can open and close them depending on the work area you want for yourself while writing code. In this tutorial you will learn about the solution explorer window in Visual Studio

Solution Explorer

The solution explorer is undoubtedly the most important windows in Visual Studio which you will be using during the software development process.

Solution explorer window shows you the list of all the projects which you are working on at the moment. As you learnt from the previous tutorial that a solution file keeps the list of all the projects which are a part of your application. Therefore the solution explorer window is responsible for showing you all the projects in your solution.

If you do not see the solution explorer window inside Visual Studio then click on View->Solution Explorer menu from the top menu and you will see this window
